This is a good example of refinishing a maple bedroom set, without going too dark. This client wanted a cherry finish but still keeping the color close to the original color. At first the client thought the hardware would have to be repaced. After the set was refinished, I re-installed the handles without mentioning this and this client loved the look of the handles and the savings to having them replaced.
